Job Summary:

The State Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sales operations within the designated state or region. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and proven track record in achieving sales targets. The State manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, managing the sales team, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring effective implementation of sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development:
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
    • Develop strategies to explore new markets and business expansion.
    • Develop and implement a strong and effective sales strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performance sales team.
    • Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and implement strategies for continuous
      improvement.
  3. Training and Development:
    • Identify the training needs of the sales team and implement training programs for the sales team to enhance product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service.
    • Ensure that the team is updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  4. Budget and Forecasting:
    • Develop, manage, and optimize the sales budget for the state, ensuring financial targets are met.
    • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, contributing valuable insights to overall business planning.
  5. Sales Operation Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day sales operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in achieving sales goals.
    • Collaborate with other department to streamline processes and improve overall sales
      effectiveness.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify area for improvement.
    • Ensure timely review and required reports.
  6. Collection Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to recover outstanding debts.
    • Monitor and manage the performance of the debt portfolio.
    • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in the debt collection process.
    • Identify training needs within the collection team.

Qualification, Skills & Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  2. Proven experience in a Senior Sales Management role with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  3. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. In- depth knowledge of sales processes, strategies, and best practices.
  6. Proficient in using sales- related software and tools.
  7. Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a manager, and 2 years of experience as State/ Division Manager.

Position Summary:

This position involves designing, implementation and management of corporate social responsibility programs. This role requires strategic collaboration across partners, various departments of the donor company, assessing program impact, and ensuring alignment with company goals. Responsible for reporting on the progress and impact of CSR programs. This includes assessing alignment with program objectives, compliance with regulations, and providing insights for program improvement and decision-making.

Key Accountability:

  1. Researching and identifying potential and tailored CSR interventions in various geographies through evaluation of local community needs.
  2. Design CSR projects that align with the company goals and Launching CSR programs based on identified themes relevant to their region.
  3. Preparing and presenting proposed initiatives to internal stakeholders and navigating the internal approval process to secure the green light for program implementation.
  4. Creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Projects and ensure delivery of Programs in Compliance with SOP’s.
  5. Identifying and onboarding partners, including non-profits and other organizations, essential for implementing CSR initiatives.
  6. Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with these partners for the successful execution of programs.
  7. Continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of these initiatives through regular onsite visits and ensuring alignment with program objectives.
  8. Engaging with internal stakeholders including Business Managers and Field teams to ensure smooth program execution, budget utilization & proper documentation.
  9. Regularly updating internal stakeholders on the progress of CSR programs, including milestones and challenges.
  10. Ensuring that all CSR activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies and reporting on compliance status.

Position Requirements:

  1. Graduation/Post Graduation/ Post Graduate Diploma In Rural Management/ Social Work, Social Science.
  2. 7+ years of program management experience within CSR departments, foundations, management consulting firms, or nonprofits.
  3. Profound understanding of CSR principles, trends, and impact measurement frameworks.
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  6. Sound judgment and independent decision-making abilities.
  7. Must be willing to travel extensively across multiple states to manage and oversee CSR initiatives.
  8. Able to adapt to varying travel schedules and destinations as required by the job.
  9. Comfortable with frequent on-site visits for program assessment, stakeholder meetings, and project monitoring.
  10. Language proficiency in English, Hindi and local regional language.

Your responsibilities will involve conducting comprehensive diligence, interfacing with external entities, sourcing opportunities, analyzing markets, and building a network of startups and investors to bolster our client's investment and portfolio management strategies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Enabling and Supporting new Investments:

  1. Strong proficiency in analyzing trends, business models, and conducting industry research, coupled with the flexibility to engage in diverse sectors beyond Fintech, is essential
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships
  3. Proven track record in managing fintech portfolios or working closely with fintech companies will be preferred
  4. Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex situations and drive impactful outcomes.

Qualification/ Experience Required:

  1. 1-3 years of experience in portfolio management, fintech, investment banking, or related fields
