Our client is an incubator for startups.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess the financial health of startups and potential investment opportunities
- Prepare comprehensive financial models, valuation analyses, and investment memoranda, transaction and trading comparable for enabling follow on round conversations.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build new and maintain existing relationships with investors by understanding their thesis, portfolio investments to provide them with potential investment opportunities from the portfolio
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of investment insights and fundraising industry landscape.
- Market Research:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions
- Provide market insights and intelligence to clients and internal teams.
- Presentations and Communication:
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Key Skills/ Abilities:
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and valuation methods, venture capital and startup investment ecosystem
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Target oriented and extremely proactive.
Qualification/ Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking or a investor relation role
- Existing relationships with Indian & Cross boarder VCs/Bankers is a welcome experience.
