A leading microfinance institution.
Reporting To: Deputy General Manager (DGM)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation of credit policy through Business Rule Engine in coordination with IT, product and Business.
- Understanding, analysing, and implementing business needs, feature modification requests, and converting them into software components.
- Support product development to mitigate credit risk in the organization.
- Prepare/ Analyse/ Maintain credit risk models (scenario testing) in line with the requirements of the organization.
- Prepare risk reports regularly. Identifying and analysing potential credit risk areas based on the data provided and recommending action plans.
Qualification and Skillset:
- 1-4 years’ work experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Minimum 3 yrs of experience in Credit Risk project.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering/ Mathematics/ Economics.
- Knowledge of a programming language is required. Proficiency in Functional Python programming and logical thinking is a plus.
- Exposure to a consumer loan environment (digital loan, personal loan, credit card, mortgage, microfinance institution) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to seamlessly communicate (both verbal and written) with multiple stakeholders.
- Candidates are preferred from South Indian states and are willing to work from office (WFO), with no hybrid arrangements.
