About the Company: An NBFC-MFI in India.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the growth and expansion of the division (25 branches). This position is responsible for ensuring the proactive management of operational, financial, and environmental risks within the division. He will be accountable for implementing any existing and new people-related and operational projects for the division that the organization prioritises periodically.

Key Accountabilities:

Growth and Expansion:

  1. Create expansion plans for the new branch opening as per the agreed targets
  2. Plan ways to implement new products and services in the division to meet the established targets
  3. Monitor achievement of all the targets for the division, including growth, profit, member retention, and division overhead expenses
  4. Implement strategic initiatives (people or operations related) taken by the management team/head office

Operations:

  1. Identify and plan cost control initiatives to reduce overall operating costs in the division
  2. Identify, plan for and implement processes to track and measure critical field data required for decision making
  3. Design and implement a risk management process at the branch/ area/ division level and report variances as per the established frequency

Stakeholder Interactions:

  1. Identify and build relationships with key officials in government, NGO and other organizations at the district level
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
  3. Build brand image and visibility of GFS in the division
  4. Participant in all SEDs in the division

People Management:

  1. Conduct and complete performance reviews for all area managers at the established frequency and timeline
  2. Participate in the recruitment, training, transfer and promotion process of his area
  3. Plan and support the implementation of capability-building initiatives for employees in the division
  4. Responsible for a team of 5 to 8 direct reports – 100 – 120 indirect employees
  5. Approve staff leave
  6. Responsible for performance reviews of all direct reports

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
  2. Age: <40 yrs max (mandatory)
  3. Candidate will be posted across any location in the respective state
  4. Must have handled a minimum of 20 branches and team handling of >80 employees
